Issues: Immigration

Over 11 million illegal immigrants currently reside within the borders of the United States. Our immigration policies are not working, and we need substantial reform. First and foremost, I believe we must secure our borders. By getting more border patrol boots on the ground, utilizing advanced technology, and enhancing and expanding traditional security measures, we can strengthen border security and reduce the number of illegal immigrants entering our country. Additionally, we must enforce and prioritize the laws we already have in place.

While it is clear our nation's current immigration system needs change, it is a complex issue that must be addressed by our elected lawmakers and the American people. Any change to the laws must come from our Congress and not the executive branch.
