Sinema Introduces Legislation to Reduce Government Spending

Yesterday, Congresswoman Kyrsten Sinema (AZ-09) and Congressman Robert Pittenger (NC-09) introduced the Unified Savings and Accountability Act of 2015 (USA Act), bipartisan legislation to cut at least $57 billion in government spending over ten years.

"Arizonans are sick and tired of Washington's wasteful spending," said Congresswoman Sinema. "This bipartisan legislation eliminates unnecessary spending and government waste. I will continue to work with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to find commonsense ways to reduce the debt, balance the budget, and boost economic growth."

"America borrows one million dollars every thirty seconds to satisfy Washington's out of control spending habit. This is insane," said Congressman Robert Pittenger.
