Senator Blunt Visits Synergy Services, Discusses Efforts To Protect Victims Of Child Abuse

U.S. Senator Roy Blunt (Mo.) visited Synergy Services in Kansas City, Mo. on Friday, August 14, 2015. Synergy Services is one of Missouri's Child Advocacy Centers, which serves victims of child abuse and provides ways to prevent child abuse and neglect through public-private partnerships.

"It was great to meet with so many professionals at Synergy Services who all come together to ensure that victims of child and domestic abuse receive the help they need," said Blunt. "From law enforcement officials and prosecutors to licensed therapists and educators, the Kansas City community is committed to supporting victims of abuse and reducing violence. Synergy Services provides a safe place for these women and children, and it empowers them to lead happy and healthy lives."
