Enzi Says Planned Parenthood Vote Result is "Callous'

U.S. Senator Mike Enzi, R-Wyo. voted to advance a bill he cosponsored that would redirect federal funds to providers of women's health services. The funds would be directed away from Planned Parenthood. The bill (S. 1881) failed to get the 60 votes necessary to move forward.

"I firmly believe that every life demands our respect as a special gift from God and it should be treated as such. The Planned Parenthood videos show a callousness for life that is at the opposite end of the spectrum," Enzi said. "The Senate vote was another demonstration of this callousness."
