G-PAC is a non-partisan political action committee. Every year in Illinois, an average of 1,000 people are killed by gun violence and countless others are seriously injured; most are children. The devastation imposed by this epidemic on our communities and families is unimaginable - it is the price that we are forced to pay for a culture of gun violence that has been allowed to flourish without accountability for far too long. Polls show that a majority of gun owners and non-gun owners favor alike sensible gun safety measures to save lives. G-PAC provides campaign support to legislators committed to keeping guns out the hands of criminals, gang members, domestic abusers and the dangerously mentally ill.
