Description
"To achieve a close degree of cooperation between the memberships of the Local Unions who are affiliated with it and to coordinate their activities; to provide the means whereby each Local Union may keep abreast of changing economic conditions and become advised of improved methods of meeting the problems with which is confronted; to promote, encourage and put into effect such measures as will eliminate from our industry any unfair practices which may exist now or in the future."
