What is the Political Courage Test?

Arizona State Legislative Election 2008 Political Courage Test

The Political Courage Test asks candidates which items they will support if elected. It does not ask them to indicate which items they will oppose. Through extensive research of public polling data, we discovered that voters are more concerned with what candidates would support when elected to office, not what they oppose. If a candidate does not select a response to any part or all of any question, it does not necessarily indicate that the candidate is opposed to that particular item.

There are a myriad of social programs that can be scaled back or even eliminated to fully fund other vital programs. Please call or email me if you have questions about this. Keep in mind that when we secure our border and cease the invasion, more money becomes available to Arizona citizens for areas of health care and education.
The growth of government must be restrained. Government needs to stop robbing taxpayers of their hard-earned money. Redistribution of wealth must be stopped. State government should return to the basics of providing infrastructure...addressing our important transportation and water issues. We must fully fund public safety entities and secure our border so that we are not paying benefits to illegal immigrants who invade our country.

I will continue to maintain my reputation as one of the staunches defenders of the Arizona Taxpayers and will fight for lower taxes and smaller, more efficient government. I will push for real reforms like the employer sanctions law that have helped reduce the illegal immigration population in Arizona. I will fight for better border security and tougher laws to crack down on illegal immigration. I pledge to continue my commitment for common sense legislation to improve our economy and stand firm against liberal attemps to hurt small business and jepardize the important jobs they bring to the state.
