Anthony Sabatini has provided voters with clear stances on key issues by responding to the 2022 Political Courage Test.
Pro-life | Do you generally support pro-choice or pro-life legislation?
I support Pro-life legislation. I do not support pro-choice legislation. As the Supreme Court recently stated when it struck down Roe v. Wade, the issue of abortion must be dealt with on a state-by-state level. However, since abortion is homicide Congress does have the jurisdiction to restrict and prohibit abortions. The US congress must pass legislation to protect life. |
No | In order to balance the budget, do you support an income tax increase on any tax bracket?
No | Do you support expanding federal funding to support entitlement programs such as Social Security and Medicare? |
Yes | Do you support the regulation of indirect campaign contributions from corporations and unions? |
Yes | Do you support the protection of government officials, including law enforcement officers, from personal liability in civil lawsuits concerning alleged misconduct? |
Yes | Do you support increasing defense spending?
I believe in peace through strength. A strong and prepared military is our best defense. |
No | Do you support federal spending as a means of promoting economic growth?
Yes | Do you support lowering corporate taxes as a means of promoting economic growth?
Yes | Do you support providing financial relief to businesses AND/OR corporations negatively impacted by the state of national emergency for COVID-19? |
No | Do you support government funding for the development of renewable energy (e.g. solar, wind, geo-thermal)?
No | Do you support the federal regulation of greenhouse gas emissions? |
No | Do you generally support gun-control legislation?
As the most pro-Second Amendment member of the Florida legislature, I sponsored Constitutional Carry legislation, advocated for Open Carry legislation and introduced a bill to make Florida a Second Amendment Sanctuary state. I believe in the literal interpretation of the Second Amendment, the right of people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. |
Yes | Do you support repealing the 2010 Affordable Care Act ("Obamacare")?
No | Do you support requiring businesses to provide paid medical leave during public health crises, such as COVID-19? |
Yes | Do you support the construction of a wall along the Mexican border?
Yes | Do you support requiring immigrants who are unlawfully present to return to their country of origin before they are eligible for citizenship?
I strongly oppose illegal immigration and sanctuary cities and support completing the wall on our southern border begun under the Trump Administration. I support an immigration moratorium to stop the constant influx of legal and illegal aliens. I voted for SB 1808 which was signed into law by Gov. DeSantis earlier this year, targeting transportation companies that bring undocumented immigrants into the state and expanding a 2019 law (which I voted for) to ban sanctuary cities. Although this bill is a good step forward, I?m a proponent of E-Verify for private employers as the best way to end illegal immigration. |
Yes | Should the United States use military force to prevent governments hostile to the U.S. from possessing a weapon of mass destruction (for example: nuclear, biological, chemical)?
No | Do you support reducing military intervention in Middle East conflicts? |
Yes | Do you generally support removing barriers to international trade (for example: tariffs, quotas, etc.)? |
My top three issues are, build the wall, ban transgender surgeries on children, shut down the federal Department of Education. Were under attack by an anti-American enemy from within that seeks to dismantle the history, traditions and institutions that make America Great. Ill push the RINOs in Congress to shift from defense to offense. Rather than constantly defending against the Radical Lefts insanity, we will set the agenda. Im the strongest fiscal and social conservative with a proven track record of standing for traditional Republican principles for the last four years as a member of the Florida State Legislature. |
