My top priorities are education and healthy kids. I will promote full day Kindergarten because it lays the foundation for academic success. Education reform must begin by creating a seamless education as a top priority. Elementary education cannot rely on social promotions to create a smoke screen for failure. The K-12 and Higher Education must collaboration to transition students to the next grade level. Collaborative decisions regarding textbooks, curriculum, syllabi and tutoring programs and other student support services is essential.
To pay for reform I propose a tax on all sugar products commonly sold at schools. Its projected to raise...
