why is it every time the abortion debate comes up important elevant facts are left out? If wellness of the mother is the mother is of such prime concern then why is the abortion to breast cancer link never discussed. Howe about the dramatic increse in alcoholism, srug addiction, drpression, and sucidie rates are never brought by the very people who say they are concerned about the wwllness of the woman? And what about the post tramatic stress associated with abortions not to mention the spiritual issues that are not even mentioned? |

Yes | 3) Do you support the elimination of the federal estate tax?
Yes | 4) Do you support requiring the federal budget to be balanced each year?
No | 5) Do you support using government funds in an effort to stimulate and improve the economy?
ALL Federal Funding must be in line with the United States Constitution. Ariticle 1, Scetion 8 clearly defines the Congressional role of duties and responsiblilities of operating the federal government. Additionally, the states and the people are responsible for governing themselves and the federal government deals with issues between the states, internal federal government operations and with foreign government as prescribed by the Constitution. Additionally to the 10th Amendment (state guaranteed and protected rights) and the 9th Amendment (rights guaranteed and protected to the citizens) when followed puts the control and freedoms back in the lowest levels.
As originally out lined in the Constitution we collected revenue by tariffs, import duties, and taxes on business. The personal income tax was not original and can be argued it is a tax on businesses not individuals. To my knowledge the LAW has never been shown where individuals are to be taxed, only regulations created by the IRS without Congressional action are used as the basis of presumption of taxing individuals. Again taxes are to be implimented according to the Constitution, Amenedmetns and laws pased by Congress. SHOW us the LAW or quit taxing individuals.
There is NO constitutional bases for proping up businesses. Under ethical and moral capitalism there is no need. Free enterprise allows for failure of some due to poor management or other reasons and provides opportunities for others to buy them, or their products or service that can make it successful. Failure by some are opportunities for others. The government interference is inefficent and detrimential at best as looking at many failed socialist, communist and facists governments throughout history. Liberty is not just for individuals but for people in business as well. |
Yes | a) Do you support privatizing elements of Social Security?
Yes | b) Do you support reducing government regulations on the private sector?
No | c) Do you support increasing the federal minimum wage?
Yes | d) Do you support the ability of workers to unionize?
No | e) Do you support federal funding for job-training programs that retrain displaced workers?
Again the federal government is to operate within the confines of the US Constitution. The States and the citizens are to to have much more control over governing than the federal government. FEDERAL means a confederation of sovereign states and a decentralized federal government. National means a consolidated centralized government not made up of smaller sovereign entities. We are a nation that is governed as FEDERAL CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC. The Federal government was created by the sovereign states and the citizens. the federal government is to answer to the states and the citizens. They are for control at the lowest level. |
Yes | a) Do you support increasing the amount individuals are permitted to contribute to federal campaigns?
No | b) Should Congress regulate indirect campaign contributions from corporations and unions?
Yes | c) Do you support removing all contribution limits on federal campaigns?
Yes | d) Should candidates for federal office be encouraged to meet voluntary spending limits?
Yes | e) Do you support giving the President the power of the line item veto for items concerning appropriations?
Yes | f) Do you support limiting the President's ability to define how legislation is applied through the use of signing statements?
Our form of government is based upon the premise of a free people doing what is right, moral and ethical. Spending limits and regulations are only necessary when people fail to voluntarily abide by the just, ethical, right and moral guidelines. When we have a change and return to foundational moral principles then we have no need for such measures. But if these measures are required it is up to the states, not the federal government to impliment such measures. Good ethics and morals, our American history and our Constitution coupled with the will of the poeple are to guide. |
Yes | a) Do you support capital punishment for certain crimes?
No | b) Do you support programs that provide prison inmates with vocational and job-related training and job-placement assistance when released?
Yes | c) Do you support programs that provide prison inmates with substance abuse treatment?
No | d) Do you support reduced prison sentences for non-violent offenders?
Yes | e) Do you support mandatory prison sentences for selling illegal drugs?
Again Prisons are for punishment not necessarily for rehabilittion. We can throw billions of dollars at every kind of rehab program with no or only temporary success but until the heart is changed it will not last. Even after a change of heart the consequences need to be carried out. When no consequences are given or weakened we only encourarge unlawful behavior. Prevention through education of our foundational Judeo-Christians morals and ethics, principles and character are far more effecctive in preventing crime than punishment afterward. Prevention is the key not but whenit fails punishment is necessary. |
No | a) Do you support federal education standards and testing requirements for K-12 students?
No | b) Do you support federal funding for universal pre-K programs?
No | c) Do you support federal funding for charter schools?
Yes | d) Do you support federal funding for K-12 school vouchers?
No | e) Do you support the federal government providing college students with financial aid?
Education is a parental responsibility. Current test scores do not show improved education but am emphasis to taking test for desires higher scores. The billion of dollars spent on programs are a dismal failure. From the beginning of America the primary focus of education has been three fold: 1) to teach reading and classical subjects, analytical thinking, logic skills 2) the Constitution, governing principles and our history from a Providential view,3) and to live by the Judeo-Chrisitain principles, ethics and morals to further the Christian faith and gospel of Jesus Christ. Check out our American history don't take my word. |

Yes | e) Do you support domestic oil exploration in federally-protected areas?
No | f) Do you support federal funding for the development of alternative energy?
Yes | g) Do you support the development of nuclear reactors?
I used to be an environmentalist. now I'm a conservationist as is any good hunter or fishermen. I learned that much of what I was taught throughout my years in public schools system were not true weren't in many cases. I learned to think for myself I began investigating the information I was taught, I learned that much of the data used is missing, falsified, otherwise maninpulated by people with a political agenda instead of doing what is right with objective data. Morals, ethics, principles, and character as just as important in the sciences as in social and political matters. |

The true Homeland security is neighbors helping and protecting neighbors. I believe it is our God given right and duty to protect ourselves, families and helpless against lawless thieves, violent offenders and those who would do harm to us. Citizens abide by the law. Criminals don't obey the laws just use them to their advantage. The lowest crime rates are in Switzerland where every male 21 years and older is trained for military service then sent home with his person weapon for defense and expected to use it for the rest of his life. We should do the same here. |
No | a) Do you support a publicly-administered health insurance option?
No | b) Do you support expanding access to health care through commercial health insurance reform?
No | c) Should the federal government expand eligibility for tax-free medical savings accounts?
No | d) Do you support monetary limits on damages that can be collected in malpractice lawsuits?
e) Do you support relaxing regulations on the importation of prescription drugs?
Once again when the federal goververnment becomes involved in anything waste, fraud, abouse and power seeking become institutionalized. These are state, local and individual matters that need to be addressed at that level. Interstate matters are the realm of the federal government and areas dealing with improting prescriptions drugs would be one place they are needed but not without public oversight of the government. They work for us the people, not the other way around. |
No | a) Do you support a pathway to citizenship for illegal immigrants?
Yes | b) Do you support decreasing the number of legal immigrants allowed into the country?
Yes | c) Do you support establishing English as the official national language?
Yes | d) Do you support the enforcement of federal immigration laws by state and local police?
I sugguest your watch the video "Immigration Gumballs" on Youtube. this is the most concise and accurate, objective and unbiased information I know of about the immigration issue in the USA. The idea of citizenship is to assimilate the immigrants into being Americians not keeping their foreign identity as Americans. Surrently there are laws that are being ingnored by the feral government purely for political gain. You can not tell me if we can put a man on the moon in less than ten years we can't solve an immigration problem. |
Yes | a) Should marriage only be between one man and one woman?
No | b) Do you support allowing openly-gay men and women to serve in the United States military?
c) Do you support federal funding for embryonic stem cell research?
d) Should the federal government end affirmative action programs?
These are four separate areas that need addressing. Marriage is 1 man and 1 woman only. Military life is no place for political correctness nor a place for someone's political agenda. I whole heartedly support umbilical cord and adult stem scell research but no embryonic stem cell research. Martin Luther King said he looked forward to the day when a man was judged by the content of his character not the color of his skin. The Christian ethic promotes affirming all men as created in the image of God and therefore I trust all the same, these programs don't. |
All funding would get a straight up or down vote based on Article 1, Section 8, of the US Constitution with no amendments or riders. Repeal the 17th amendment to put US Senators appointments under the State Legislatures again so states have control over the Senate as originally intended by the Founders. There wouldn't be a need for States suing the federal government to gain control over issues that they would have control of anyway. Remove the US from the United Nations and other" foreign entanglements" as we have major problems at home to deal with before anything else. |
