As State Superintendent, June's priority is to uplift each child's teachers with the respect and salary that they deserve. In order to succeed, our teachers must have adequate resources, effective professional development, and modern classrooms equipped with new technology.
She will continue to support initiatives that ensure that every child:
Graduates from high school prepared for life, citizenship, work, and further education; Excels in reading; Has access to modern technology; Has a teacher who is respected and paid a competitive salary She also believe that public schools have been over regulated by the General Assembly. She will work with the General Assembly to repeal laws that stifle innovative school success in each school district.
