Reason for Seeking Public Office:
"I serve because there are many today who feel our nation is slipping through their fingers and I want to be in the fight to change that." -- Randy Forbes
As Chairman of the Seapower and Projection Forces Subcommittee, Randy sees it as a privilege to oversee the critical Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force programs upon which our region relies economically, and a duty to fight for Virginians. He believes Virginia doesn't just rely on a strong military -- a strong military relies on Virginia. Randy is eager to share his vision with Second District voters for protecting national security and lighting up the region's economy by strengthening tourism, the ports, and critical shipping and warehousing industries, and getting government off the backs of businesses.
