Honesty and Ethics: I will follow the spirit, not just the letter, of all ethics laws. You will always know that I am working for you, and when I make a promise -- I will keep it.

Energy Relief: I will fight to use the budget surplus to provide relief for Alaskan families who are struggling to pay their bills, and to invest in new energy sources for long-term solutions to lower energy costs.

Improving our schools: I will fight to increase funding for neighborhood schools, improve UAA, and restore competitive pay and benefits so that we can hire the best teachers for our students.

Tax Relief: I will work to lower property taxes by increasing revenue sharing.

Fiscal Responsibility: As a small business owner, the first thing I did every month was post a budget on my bulletin board. I worked hard to stick to our budget.

Build the Gasline: I will continue the fight for an Alaska gas pipeline.

Protecting the Permanent Fund: I will oppose any effort to use the Permanent Fund to pay for government spending.
