Priority Issues:

"As someone who has worked in the Agricultural industry in the state of New Mexico for over fifty years the issues and problems of farmers are very important in order to continue to foster the agricultural heritage of our great state. New Mexico has a rich history of agriculture and in order to retain that history we need to secure water rights and stop the impediments that keep farmers from farming."

Bill will….

* Work to improve the farming situation in the Mesilla Valley to include supporting

farmer's water rights and ability to farm.

* Will support the efforts of Sunland Park to obtain a Port of Entry to Mexico and support

obtaining funding to improve the infrastructure in the Sunland Park and Santa Teresa areas.

* Will support legislation to obtain funding to assist all the small rural communities in

District 34 which includes: Pecan Acres, San Miguel, Northern Mesquite, La Mesa,

Chamberino, La Union, Santa Teresa, and Sunland Park.

* Finally, he will work extensively with local educators and state wide groups to come up

with real workable solutions to improve our schools because our children are our most

valuable assets. We need to educate them and find the jobs to keep them in the state!
