Why I Want to Serve You

As a lifelong resident of the Blue Water Area, I am concerned about the struggles our residents and businesses face in this troubled economy. While there are indications of positive momentum for Michigan, I feel that more needs to be done to focus on our area.

As a hands-on business owner in the service industry, I have enjoyed the opportunity to meet many great people over the years. This experience allows me to hear, discuss, and understand the needs of our community firsthand.

The primary concern facing our community is the lack of job opportunities, causing great financial stress on families. When people have less to spend, local businesses are greatly impacted. Home values have continued to plummet, affecting local government services.

The key to growth for our area is to attract more tourism and industry, which will invigorate our local economy. As your State Representative, I will be an active, persistent voice for the concerns of our residents and businesses, shining a light on the many unique benefits of the Blue Water Area.
