Project Vote Smart Presents: "Depending on the Wisdom of Strangers"

6 September 2007
Written by

After 16 years of work by 6000 volunteers, at the cost of twelve million dollars, the Voter's Self-Defense System is finally complete and ready to be presented to American voters across the nation. To deliver the system, Project Vote Smart President Richard Kimball and several members of Project Vote Smart's Founding Board will be traveling the country non-stop until the 2008 election presenting a stage show entitled "Depending on the Wisdom of Strangers." The show will examine our country's current political situation, as well as an investigation of how we got to this point in our political discourse. Finally, it will show voters how to improve politics today by being informed citizens.

We are constantly adding new speaking engagements for members of our founding board. You can find the schedule of upcoming speaking engagements below. We need your help to find other speaking engagements for our board members. If you have a venue that you would like to have a speaker at please e-mail our National Speaking Tour Coordinators James Ewert and Victoria Horrock and tell us about it.

For more information on any of the engagements below please call us at 1-888-Vote-Smart. All events are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted.

Check back soon for more dates.
