Vote to pass a bill that authorizes pharmacists or employers of pharmacists to refuse to dispense or distribute pharmaceutical care or drugs based on religious, moral, or ethical objections.
-Prohibits any form of discrimination against an individual for refusing to dispense or distribute pharmaceutical care or drugs based on religious, moral, or ethical objections (Sec. 3). -Specifies that the provisions of this Act do not authorize pharmacists or employers of pharmacists to refuse to dispense or distribute pharmaceutical care or drugs because of the patient's race, color, religion, sex, or national origin (Sec. 3).
