Vote to table an amendment that prohibits preferential treatment when awarding federal transportation contracts, encourages the development and outreach to emerging businesses, and repeals the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program, which requires no less than 10% of highway construction projects funded by the federal government to be contracted to 'disadvantaged business enterprises.'
