Title: Increasing Vehicle Registration Fees

    - Increases the vehicle model year age at which the part of the fee based on value shall be 75 percent of the rate as determined when the vehicle was new from 5 to 7 model years old, and specifies that the fee shall not be less than $50; - Increases the vehicle model year age at which the part of the fee based on value shall be 50 percent of the rate as determined when the vehicle was new from 6 to 9 model years old, and specifies that the fee shall not be less than $50; - Sets the vehicle model year age at which the registration fee shall be a flat $50 fee at 12 model years old; - Provides an exception for cases in which the registration is a renewal for a vehicle registered by the same owner prior to 2009, in which case the fee shall be no more than the fee payed for the previous year; and - Provides an exception for cases in which the registration is a renewal for a vehicle registered as an antique vehicle by the same owner prior to 2009, in which case the annual registration fee shall be $23 for vehicles of model years 1970 to 1983 and $16 for model years 1969 and older.
- Modifies the annual registration fee for truck tractors, road tractors, and motor trucks (excluding special trucks and 2010 and subsequent model year motor trucks) as follows (Sec. 7):
