Vote to adopt an amendment to the statewide health improvement program, SF 3099. Removes several provisions.

Highlights:

- Eliminates the health care transformation commission, the health care value reporting committee, and the Minnesota health insurance exchange. - Eliminates a requirement to report hospital costs and performance standards on-line. - Eliminates a quality incentive payment system linking the level of payments to health care providers with the quality of care they provide. - Eliminates the requirement for an electronic prescription drug program. - Prohibits entities within the welfare system from sharing private data on an individual. - Provides $600,000 in grant money to the University of Minnesota School of Public Health to evaluate the impact, costs and benefits of proposed health care reforms and and legislation.
