Vote to pass a bill that gives an annual employment incentive to high school math and science teachers and alters the state's mentor teacher program.

- Requires the state board of education to adopt new regulations for evaluating and approving the mentor teacher program [Sec. 4 (a)]. - Requires local boards of education to give periodic reports to the state board of education based on performance and statistical and financial information on mentor teacher programs [Sec. 3 (b)]. - Adjusts the annual mentor teacher stipend to an amount not to exceed 23% of the base state aid per pupil [Sec. 4 (b)].
