Vote to pass a bill that requires the purchaser of any real property after January 1, 2009, including partial interest, to report the sale price of the property to the county assessor using a property transfer certificate within 30 days of closing the transaction.

- Adds property transfer certificates to the list of records legally exempt from disclosure (Sec. 2). - Fines civil officials up to $1,000 for intentionally disclosing the details of any property transfer certificate (Sec. 1). - Makes it a misdemeanor for purchasers to make a false statement on a property transfer certificate or claim to be exempt from filing one (Sec. 1). - Makes it a misdemeanor that carries a $300 fine for purchasers to wait more than thirty days to submit a property transfer certificate to the county assessor (Sec. 1).
