Vote to pass a bill that establishes the Healthy Food Initiatives Board.

- Establishes the healthy food initiative board, consisting of nine voting members serving two-year terms, in which six are ex-officio members and three are appointed by the governor and approved by the Senate (Sec. 3). - Permits the board to provide funding for qualified projects (Sec. 4). - Creates the healthy food initiatives fund in the state treasury to provide grants or loans for qualified projects. The fund is administered by the department of finance and administration (Sec. 5). - Mandates that an appropriate legislative interim committee approve all rules proposed by the board, and be briefed by the board on grant and loan proposals (Sec. 6).
