Vote to override a line item veto that eliminates bill language that prohibits funds from being directed to the Department of Health and Environment until procedures are instituted that require physicians to report the specific diagnosis that necessitated a late-term abortion. The line item veto also eliminates bill language putting a deadline on an affiliation agreement between the University of Kansas Medial Center and the KU Hospital Authority and bill language requiring state employee directories to be printed as hard copies.
