Vote to table a bill requiring the use of seat belts in motor vehicles in the state of New Hampshire.
- Requires all individuals to wear seatbelts in a motor vehicle and children 6 years of age and younger to be properly secured in a child restraint system (sec. 2). -Exempts passengers in passenger transport vehicles, school buses weighing more than 10,000 pounds and vehicles manufactured before 1968 (sec. 2) - Fines a violator $50 for the first offense and $100 for the second and each subsequent offense (sec. 2).
