Title: Cervical Cancer Immunization Act

Highlights:

- Creates the Cervical Cancer Immunization Program within the Department of Public Health and Environment [sec.1]. - Stipulates that the Department will pay the administrative cost for the cervical cancer vaccine to local public health agencies for underinsured female minors entering the sixth grade [sec.1]. - Creates the Cervical Cancer Immunization Awareness Fund to provide the necessary financial support for a public awareness campaign about the cervical cancer vaccine, its benefits, disadvantages and possible side effects. The Fund will consist of any appropriations by the general assembly as well as any gifts, grants or donations made to the Department [sec.1]. -Allows for the transfer of two hundred thousand dollars to the fund from the Colorado immunization fund if the Department has received eight hundred thousand dollars in gifts, grants or donations by January 1, 2008 [sec.1]. - Requires that all individual and all group sickness and accident insurance policies issued or renewed on or after January 1, 2008 provide coverage for the full cost of the cervical cancer vaccine for all females that it is recommended for [sec.3].
