Title: Governor Term Increase

Vote to pass a resolution proposing to extend the term of a governor from two years to four.

Highlights:

- Stipulates that the amendment will be submitted to the qualified voters during the state general election in November 2008 [Art. II]. - States that the first four-year term for governor will begin with the 2010 elections [Art. IV]. - States that if the amendment is approved by 2/3 of the individual voters that voted on it, it will become effective when the governor proclaims its adoption [Art. VI].
