Vote to pass a bill that allows municipalities to issue liquor licenses to new businesses within special development districts.
Highlights:
- Makes licensure contingent upon certain criteria (sec. 4): a) Sales from non-alcoholic goods and services should provide more than half of the licensee's income b) License cannot be transfered outside of the special district c) Adult entertainment may be prohibited d) The business must be newly constructed (since January 1, 2007)
