Establishes several rules and regulations regarding the use of artificial intelligence, including, but not limited to, its use in election campaigns and a prohibition on revenge porn generated by using AI (Sec. 1).
Establishes protections against bias in AI decision-making systems that might use discriminatory factors such as race, age, religion, disability or other protected classes (Sec. 1).
Specifies that AI developers have until July 2025 to take reasonable care to protect consumers from any known or reasonably foreseeable risks of algorithmic discrimination (Sec. 1).
Requires developers and companies that use AI provide disclosures about how they use AI, what data is used to train their systems and maintain risk management policies (Sec. 1).
Authorizes penalties for the creation and dissemination of non-consensual deepfake content, pornographic or political (Sec. 1).
Requires AI-generated content contain digital watermarks noting their origins (Sec. 1).
