Vote to concur with senate amendments and pass a bill that increases the minimum fee required with an application for construction of an energy conversion and transmission facility in the state of South Dakota.

Highlights:

• Increases the minimum fee required with an application for construction of an energy conversion and transmission facility (Sec. 1). 

• Specifies that the maximum fee chargeable may not exceed one-quarter of one percent of the first one hundred million dollars of estimated construction cost plus one-twentieth of one percent of all additional estimated construction costs of the facility  (Sec. 1). 

• Specifies that the fee will be increased if there is great environmental impact (Sec. 1).
