Vote to concur with House amendments and pass a bill that increases various election security protections including making physically assaulting an election worker a Class I felony in the state of Wisconsin.
Increases various election security protections including making physically assaulting an election worker a Class I felony (Sec. 2-34).
Prohibits publicizing election workers’ personal information including their phone numbers, addresses or any other identifying information while knowing it could lead to threats or harm and establishes violations as a misdemeanor (Sec. 2-34).
Requires all committees, political parties, and conduits to register with, and submit campaign finance reports to, the Ethics Commission through (CFIS) (Sec. 2-34).
Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect July 1, 2024 (Sec. 35).
