• Requires attending physicians or attending ARPN to provide information to patients regarding their terminal illness, all treatment options, and all alternative measures (Sec. 1). 

• Specifies the requirements for who can make the decision regarding ending one’s life via medical assistance (Sec. 1). 

• Authorizes a patient who is receiving end of life care to receive medication to end one's life in a humane way after two oral requests (Sec. 1).
