Vote to pass a bill that establishes a task force on community safety and firearm suicide prevention in the state of Oregon.

Highlights:

• Establishes a Task Force on Community Safety and Firearm Suicide Prevention (Sec. 1). 

• Specified the qualifications for the 17 members of the task force (Sec. 1). 

• Requires the task force to coordinate with the Department of Justice, the Oregon Health Authority, and sheriff departments that provide voluntary storage of firearms (Sec. 1). 

• Authorizes federally recognized Indian tribes in the state, faith-based groups, and Oregon Alliance to Prevent Suicide to study the following issues related to public health:
