Title: Amends State Management of Fish and Wildlife
Vote to pass a bill that amends the management of fish and wildlife in the state of Vermont.
Amends the management of fish and wildlife in the state of Vermont (Sec. 10).
Prohibits coyote hunting with dogs and bait piles (Sec. 10).
Amends the powers of the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Board so that it serves in an advisory capacity and gives more authority to the commissioner (Sec. 10).
Expands the board from 14 to 16 members with 14 members being appointed by the governor with senate approval, with one from each county, and the other 2 members appointed by the Speaker of the House and the senate committee on committees (Sec. 10).
Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect immediately upon passage and approval by the governor (Sec. 11).
