Title: Amends State Management of Fish and Wildlife
Vote to pass a bill that amends the management of fish and wildlife in the state of Vermont.
Amends the management of fish and wildlife in the state of Vermont (Sec. 10).
Prohibits coyote hunting with dogs and bait piles (Sec. 10).
Amends the powers of the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Board so that it serves in an advisory capacity and gives more authority to the commissioner (Sec. 10).
Specifies that the board shall consist of 16 members with 14 members being appointed by the governor, with one from each county, and the other 2 members appointed by the speaker of the House (Sec. 10).
Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect immediately upon passage and approval by the governor (Sec. 11).
