Vote to pass a bill that establishes legal protections for children born through surrogacy and assisted reproductive methods like IVF in the state of Michigan.
Specifies that a child conceived under a surrogacy agreement or assisted reproductive methods like IVF has the same legal protections as other children (Sec. 1).
Specifies that parentage under the law of another state has the same effect and may be used for the same purposes as an acknowledgment of parentage under this act (Sec. 1).
