Title: Establishes the Statewide Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) Program Educator Position
Vote to pass a bill that establishes the statewide drug abuse resistance education (D.A.R.E.) program educator position in the state of Kansas.
Establishes the statewide drug abuse resistance education (D.A.R.E.) program educator position in the state of Kansas (Sec. 1).
Specifies that the purpose of the D.A.R.E. educator shall be to (Sec. 1):
Provide instruction using the D.A.R.E. curriculum, including content on fentanyl and other opioid drugs, to students in public elementary and secondary schools; and
perform other services, and provide material and information as required to support the D.A.R.E. program in Kansas.
Establishes in the state treasury the drug abuse resistance education fund which shall be administered by the office of the attorney general (Sec. 1).
Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect upon its passage and publication in the state statute book (Sec. 1).
