Vote to pass a bill that limits law enforcement funding for local governments with reduced immigration policies.

Highlights:

• Requires the State of Georgia to withhold state and state-administered federal funds from localities found to be enacting sanctuary policies (Sec. 1):

• Specifies that localities wishing to have their funding restored must repeal their sanctuary policies and appeal to the Superior Court (Sec. 1).

• Authorizes the Court to impose a permanent injunction barring the local governing body from enacting further sanctuary policies (Sec. 1).

• Repeals sovereign immunity for local governing bodies and their employees while the bodies maintain sanctuary policies (Sec. 1).

• Authorizes the Governor to suspend all members of a governing board that enacts sanctuary policies (Sec. 2).
