Vote to pass a bill that prohibits open carrying at polling places in the state of Michigan.

Highlights:

• Prohibits open carrying in the state of Michigan at polling places within 100 feet of the entrances (Sec. 234d).

• While the polls are open on election day; or

• On any early voting day.

• Exempts police officers or indivdiduals who possess their firearm on their private property or in their private vehicle from the aforemtioned prohibitions (Sec. 234d).

• Speicifies individuals found guilty shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and imprisonment of not more than 90 days or a fine of $100 or both (Sec. 234d).
