• Defines the term “furthermost left-hand lane” (Sec. 1). 

• Prohibits a driver from operating a motor vehicle in the furthermost left-hand lane, except when overtaking or passing another vehicle (Sec. 1) 

• Authorizes drivers to operate a motor vehicle in the furthermost left-hand lane if directed by an official traffic control device, emergency vehicle, or vehicle engaging in highway maintenance or construction operations (Sec. 1)
