Vote to pass a bill that authorizes and prioritizes certain water projects in the state of New Mexico.

Highlights:

• Authorizes and prioritizes certain water projects to improve wastewater conveyance and treatment in accordance with all applicable laws in the state of New Mexico (Sec. 1).

• Appropriates $4 million or 8% of all water project funds from July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2029 for water rights adjudications projects in the state of New Mexico (Sec. 3).

• Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect immediately upon passage and approval by the governor (Sec. 4).
