Vote to concur with house passage and final pass a bill that prohibits local governments from using any public funding for a guaranteed income program.
Prohibits local governments, political subdivisions, and municipalities from expending any public funding for a guaranteed income program (Sec. 1).
Defines “political subdivision” as a city, village, town, or county (Sec. 1).
Defines “guaranteed income program” as a program under which individuals are provided with regular periodic cash payments that are unearned and that may be used for any purpose (Sec. 1).
Specifies that guaranteed income program does not include a program under which an individual is required to perform work or atted training (Sec. 1).
