• Authorizes students the right to physical self defense in school if they are physically attacked by another student or if they wittnesss another student being physically attacked (Sec. 2).

• Authorizes a school district to investigate a students use of physical force and may not reprimand a student found to of more than likely used physical force for self-protection or in the protection of another student (Sec. 2).

• Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect July 1, 2023 (Sec. 3).
