Title: Authorizes Students Right to Physical Self Defense in School
Vote to concur with senate amendments and final pass a bill that authorizes students the right to physical self defense in school.
Authorizes students the right to physical self defense in school if they are physically attacked by another student or if they wittnesss another student being physically attacked (Sec. 2).
Authorizes a school district to investigate a students use of physical force and may not reprimand a student found to of more than likely used physical force for self-protection or in the protection of another student (Sec. 2).
Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect July 1, 2023 (Sec. 3).
