Vote to pass a bill that requires Oregon Department of Education to make school district budget data more transparent.
Requires Oregon Department of Education to make school district budget data more transparent (Sec. 1).
Appropriates millions to the state Department of Education beginning July 1, 2023, including (Sec. 1- ):
$109.5 million in operation costs;
$15.4 million to the Oregon School for the Deaf;
$195.3 million for Early intervention services and early childhood service and early childhood special education programs;
$15.3 million for Youth development programs;
$242.5 million for Capitol bonding;
$50.1 million for operations costs;
$68 million for the Educator Advancement Council;
$924.4 million for all other grants;
$529.7 million for K-12 Covid-19 related grants; and
$163 millin for the High School Graduation and College and Career Readiness Fund.
Specifies that the appropriation provisions of this bill shall take effect July 1, 2023 (Sec. 17).
