Vote to pass a bill that appropriates funding for the fiscal year 2023-2025 state budget.

Highlights:

• Appropriates $77.6 billion from the general budget for fiscal year beginning August 31, 2024 for the following agencies and departments, including, but not limited to (Article I-X):

• $4.9 billion for the General Government costs and expenditures;

• $21.3 billion for the Department of Health and Human Services;

• $30.3 billion for state Education Agencies;

• $492.2 million for state Judiciary Departments;

• $9.6 billion for state Department of Public Safety and Criminal Justice;

• $2.7 billion for state Department of Natural Resources;

• $757.1 million for state Business and Economic Development Agencies;

• $230.4 million for state regulatory costs and expenditures;

• $7 billion for state general provisions; and

• $235.3 million for state legislature costs.

• Appropriates $66.6 billion from the general budget for fiscal year beginning August 31, 2025 for the following agencies and departments, including, but not limited to (Article I-X):

• $2.8 billion for the General Government costs and expenditures;

• $21.3 billion for the Department of Health and Human Services;

• $29 billion for state Education Agencies;

• $356.2 million for state Judiciary Departments;

• $8.6 billion for state Department of Public Safety and Criminal Justice;

• $644.5 billion for state Department of Natural Resources;

• $394.8 million for state Business and Economic Development Agencies;

• $197.4 million for state regulatory costs and expenditures;

• $3.1 billion for state general provisions; and

• $254.3 million for state legislature costs.

• Specifies that the provisions under this bill shall take effect immediately upon passage and approval by the governor (Article X).
