• Increases monetary award of compensatory or punitive damages to the following, including (Sec. 1):

• For a respondent with 4-14 employees, $50,000;

• For a respondent with 15-100 employees, $75,000;

• For a respondent with 101-200 employees, $175,000;

• For a respondent with 201-500 employees, $300,000; and

• For a respondent with more than 500 employees, $500,000.

• Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect immediately upon passage and approval by the governor (Sec. 1).
