Vote to concur with senate amendments and pass a bill appropriates funding for the state public education system.

Highlights:

• Appropriates millions in funding for the state K-12 public education system, including, but not limited to (Sec. 130):

• Providing stipends for student teachers;

• Extra funding for the state’s lowest income school districts; and

• Producing I.D. kits in cases of missing children.

• Increases state funding for tax credit scholarships by $150 million (Sec. 130).

• Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect January 11, 2024 (Sec. 123).
