Vote to pass a bill that requires state pension funds divest from the fossil fuel industry.

Highlights:

• Repeals previous language concerning fossil fuels (Sec. 1). 

• Alleges that the legislature's goals are to be more responsive to climate issues (Sec. 1). 

• Defines terms related to investment in environmental funds (Sec. 1). 

• Requires that before December of 2023 that the Pension Investment Commission shall investigate its holdings in fossil fuels (Sec. 1).
