Vote to amend and pass a bill that amends the definition for what is considered a deadly weapon.
Amends the definition for what is considered a deadly weapon to include any definition for a knife, or any explosive, chemical, biologica, and radiological materials (Article 7, Sec. 61).
Exempts any item or material owned by the school or county board intended for curricular use by students at the time of the alleged offense or pepper spray as defined (Article 7, Sec. 61).
Repeals the previously established age restrictions and limits for pepper spray (Article 7, Sec. 61).
Specifies that the provisions of this bill shall take effect immediately upon passage and approval by the governor (Article 7, Sec. 61).
